The SHS Climate Change Club is hosting a recycling drive specifically for #6 plastics and styrofoam as these items cannot be recycled at curbside programs.
Where: Sunset Swim Center on Science Park Dr.
When: Nov. 21 - 22 (11am - 5:30pm)
How: Contactless drop off
What: Take a look at the graphics! For any items please be sure to check that plastics have a #6 marking on them, and that styrofoam is sturdy. If it squishes between your fingers they do not accept it.
NOV. DRIVE
Our very first recycling drive in November was overwhelmingly
successful. It was surprising to say the least to see all the styrofoam that was donated that would've otherwise gone to the landfills.
We're so glad to that we could provide this opportunity to the community.
We hope to do this again soon!
